Building traffic for your blog requires following a routine that most successful bloggers do every day. They build up from small and slowly but surely hit the large stream (river) of traffic and gain access to big communication channels. With that said, if you're in a early blogging phase, just focus on creating value to the readers. Create strong pillar articles. Then go out and build small communication channels - post of blogs, post threads on relevant forums, and submit articles on blog carnivals. When you make a habit of implementing these simple time-tested strategies, slowly but surely, you'll hit big communication channels crucial for blogging success. Thanks!
The "creating value to the readers" part sounds great, and it is true that you can stand out naturally when you have really good content. However, considering the new Panda and Penguin updates of G, we need to be more careful when using the same content on the net. It may help more when you submit your content to only one channel and stop using repeated content everywhere.
Paid traffic is more predictable, once you are turning a decent profit out source your SEO to a proper seo company, not someone working from home a real brick and mortar business - this will ensure your website will eventually pull the best traffic
Paid traffic, for instant gratification, but you could lose quite a bit of money if you don't know what your doing. Press Releases for instant gratification as well. JB
I submitted a Press Release on a product that was trending at that particular time a few weeks ago and the results were insane... Within 24 hours the PR had 400 views (Unique views, not just hits) and 128 clickthrus with the links I had within the PR.. Those 128 clicks resulted in 39 sales of a $47 product... Do the math, and not too shabby huh? JB
I see you've been following Yaro Starak. Great tips man...thanks! by the way, this stuff really works!
That is a great conversion ratio, but trending things/buzz going around get people so psyched up that they'll click their mouse until it breaks to get the buzzing stuff they are looking for.
The problem is - when you are dedicated to writing articles, you do not have time for another actions
It seems right. If you spend one day on writting, you do have no time to do other part of SEO. But i think , it's better that there is one person write articles for you. If not, it wastes time.
social traffic is also great for instant traffic and if its targeted it is better. I think physical products are good for social traffic.
Great post! Those tips and techniques do work. Those are great ways to drive long-term traffic to your websites.
