I am very interested in learning what is achievable with a 30 second video infomercial as I have a service that pre-qualifies merchant traffic using video.

Has anyone ever wrapped their clickbank sales page up in a 30 second video sales pitch?

Theoretically you should be able to communicate your value proposition effectively in 30 seconds and the direct the traffic directly to your clickbank order page. Kind of like a TV commercial on steroids. One click to buy, no phone call required.

If you have tried something like this or would like to experiment on my site let me know.

Interesting idea. I would like to see the results you get from it.

Early results of a video with 15% CTR is turning 12.55% of that traffic into sales. But it is early days yet. I need more data.

I think videos can increase sales because they tend to motivate visitors more than textual information

absolutely people will be more likely to buy something if there is a video. this seems like common sense to me.

the more senses you can get involved, the better off you are. so, if you can't get video, then get audio.

truthfully, anyone limiting themselves to text (and not even GREAT images) is working with a faulty toolbox.

multimedia touching several senses does increase sales, but it is important that you can hold the users attention.

This is why I don't believe social video sites like YouTube are good at keeping a viewers attention on your video. There are too many distractions designed to keep the viewer on the social site rather than having them clicking through to the video owners website.

For those of you that have not dabbled in video yet, don't be deterred..

You can put together a multimedia video that communicates your offer with clout pretty easily using software that is already on your computer. I am referring to Windows Movie Maker.

Just put a few images together in a slideshow montage and add some of the standard transition effects in time to a background mp3. You don't even need a video camera.

At the end you can record your voice narration over it. 20 minutes effort can produce a great 30 second video advert that will increase your conversion rate enormously. If you get a video like that on other peoples sites you're looking at a source of the highest quality traffic available anywhere online.

Let me know what you think?
