Most webhosts offer the option of downloading your traffic-logs. Those logs can be analyzed by a logs-program. From that you would get statistics on what are your most important pages, what search-engines did people use to get to your site etc.

Use web stats to get the most accurate trackings. Web programs usually skip 75-90% of your total traffic. However, if you use a program hosted on another site you could prove your traffic to other sites for link exchanges and such. Try using analytics.google.com.

Your host should be providing you with some sort of traffic analysis software, like awstats. If you want to try some other free service, try www.statcounter.com Its very good.
