Why is the traffic stats in all three different ?

eg. - In webalizer and awstats, Numbers of visits is different.
In freeonlineusers and awstats, number of hits is different.

All calculation is done after totaling daily stats.

I hope its correct section for posting.

I'd go with awstats. For better or worse why don't you use google analytics ?

definitely install google analytics. it is FREE and easy to setup.

I used to use awstats, then moved to analytics and never looked back.

I know its shows different. But why is that so. Every stats is different.

And is there any specialty in Google Analytics which is not in Awstats. Awstats has many more features in it I think, plus we don't have to even use a piece of code in the website, sometimes making the site slow.

As everyone already suggested, try Google Analytics but I am afraid it'll just add to your confusion.
I would trust Google Analytics far more than the other ones.

Seem like Google analytics underestimates the number of visits. All the same, i still think they are the best as for now.

all have different methodology for checking stats...they all will vary. I suggest, just stick to one and concentrate as per tht data

They all give you a good idea. It doesn't really matter which is more accurate, small differences won't have much effect on your ability to analyse your traffic.

Go with the one you prefer in terms of usability and features.

Unless the traffic is directly measured with a tracking tag on your site (like google analytics), the numbers are not reliable. A lot of sites use spyware installed on your browser to estimate your traffic. This creates 2 problems: 1 - its spyware, and spyware is bad. 2 - since not every visitor has the spyware installed, the sites have to "estimate" the traffic.

If you want real numbers that are exact, sign up for a google analytics or a yahoo blog log account. But I am not convienced Yahoo Blog Log is accurate. Even though it uses a tracking tag, Yahoos reports are different then my google analytics account.

Overall, google analytics is going to give you the best reports that you can get. That is because the traffic is directly measured with a tracking tag that you put on your site.
