Hi,

I bought this website about three months ago on SitePoint. At that point the site's revenue was $500/mo. The guy who I bought it off was a well respected chatter on quite a few webmaster forums, so him advertising the website on these forums got him big money.
Unfortunately, I dont have this reputation, so my revenues plummeted. I am really annoyed about this, and it has taken a lot of effort for me to get this amount of money ($150 in january) out of it.

The money for this month and last month was only around $20, because i did not advertise it at all.

I am selling it because I dont want it, I have lost a lot of money from buying it, the guy should have been clear about what was involved in this website.

So I am being honest with you. If you can advertise this website then it is a really good deal. The guy i bought it off showed me proof, he did make $500 in one month. I just didnt have the rep and effort to make it work.

It is a good deal, only $300 bin. I dont care how much this goes for, if the highest bid is $100 the site is yours, I just want to get rid of it.

How does the system work? How do you send that many uniques to a website? Interested buyer here.

 

I am signed up to a large pop-under advertising company as a reseller. When an order comes through I go to their site and set up the traffic.

 

How much discount do you get as a reseller? I'm just asking so that I can gauge my profit potential for each sale...

 

Interesting any traffic stats?

 

I make around $3 per order of $5, however this becomes a lot higher as the purchases increase, because the paypal fees decrease. I get around 66% profit off larger orders.

Does the pop under load the customer's entire page or just their advertisement?

- Do I sign up as a new reseller with the traffic provider, or do I take over your current account (you change info to mine)? If I need to sign up as a new reseller, are there any sign up fees by the provider?

You will get my account for the reseller, so you dont need to sign up, and there are no fees at all.

The pop unders display the user's actual page, and no, there are no stats available on my site, however they are available via an api so if you wanted to program that it would be possible.
