Getting targeted traffic is so much more important than just any old traffic. So, I suppose if you name your image wisely, you can still get targeted traffic. But it's not likely since they'll be looking for images like the one that brought them there.
Ad your URL as part of the picture. It won't stop bandwidth theft but at least you'll be advertising your site.
Bring people to your site anyway you can - if it's free why not! i use strategically named images to bring people in, mind u they come for them.
When are you finally going to understand that there is a difference between sending people to www.domain.com or www.doamin.com/articles/news.jpg.
The visitors will just be hits and in comparison with the huge bandwith needed for this i wouldnt reccomend it. But i applaud bizdakol because the best marketing is by thinking out of the box.
How do you guys do the trick with the images to drive traffic? Do you just write the name on the image or you embed the url somehow in the image? sunlove, thanks
It is not a complete waste. i dont know if a lot of people know this but your google PR : one of the factors deciding your pr is how many times your site's pages appear in searches. better pr can bring you a number of good things.
A bad article. Agree. immages bring poor traffic and it is still hard to rank well soemtimes. not like it is easy.
