There are lots of traffic reseller type business and sites being promoted on DP, how do they work? Where do you they get their traffic so they can sell it that cheap? Thanks
I don't know about the general sites but I met a guy and he was using searchbars in browsers directing users to their websites.
I mean all the guys selling traffic from here http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=99 Where do they get all that traffic from? If they can sell so cheap there must be some big places that offer it even cheaper, right?
That's true but I don't know any names of this companies but I think they will be using similar ways, maybe some kind for free software that will be distributed and where they can manage that ads that are displayed. Would be interesting to find the real companies behind all this.
The traffic comes from wholesale traffic resellers. The sources are redirects from expired domains. You don't have to provide the traffic yourself, you just forward your orders to the wholesale providers and they send the traffic to the sites for you.
parking companies pay fairly well for expired domains traffic though, it's even on par with adsense and this traffic from the resellers is usually very cheap, so this seems quite strange. Are you sure about this?
thats exactly it....i do the same thing. i just forward the order to my trusted suppliers and they get it done
