80-120, very nice. I have had 190 today. mainly cos i added my adsense to this web site. But only got 0.01$ from that. not great.
I'm going to throw a spanner in the works. It doesn't really depend on your 'niche'. It really depends on your target demographic (your customers age, sex, location). So for example if you do a site on IT and talk about adsense, chances are you will be marketing at IT people and readers with a knowledge of what adsense is and offers. They are less likely to click your ads. Where as if you target people who cant tell difference between a real link and a google add (I'm not talking about tricking them or anything) then they are more likely to seem 'curious' about the advert. 'It is the curiosity of your target demographic that gets you high earnings per visit.' To target a 'very curious' readership means that you need to pick a niche that appeals to them. i.e. an web design site offering articles on web design and google ads to web design companies will get limited click and not earn very much. 5k visits = $1 on a bad day (note: you should do your calculations pessimistically). Compared to: a back pain solving website targeted at older internet surfers with links to back pain remedies, furniture, retreats and back rubs. A site like this would get around $1 per 200 visits (worse case scenario, again). < I hope that all helps and clarifies that your niche affects the content of the site but it's how you target that niche at a market that will click the ads, that is what will bring in the earnings. Good luck.
hey it all depends on your niche i have like a niche where the uv is 100 and pv is 1500 a day and it pays $5-$10 a day but then there is another niche where the uv is around 50 and pv is around 200, but earns peanuts so niche makes all the difference
It depends, also, on not just your subject but in some cases the ad format you're using. My site covers the entertainment industry. Normally, you'd expect to get pennies per click. However, 250X300 ad blocks sometimes show movie and TV trailers on my site. My readers are perfectly willing to click on trailer ads. And they appear to pay decently. +$1 clicks aren't that unusual. I love the run-up to a major movie; my contributors (I'm an Adsense API site) tend to pick up some decent clicks. If I just had banner and tower ads, I'd be making a lot less. -- Leva
well, you can do the math yourself actually. if you are getting 30 impressions, then see how many clicks you get and how much you make now. with 30 impressions if you are making for example say 10 cents, then you need 10 times more traffic to get $1. simple math
Thanks for all the replies in this thread. From what you have all said I would say that there are 2 main factors. Traffic - Lots of, and Content / Subject matters. Maybe there is even a third. Luck!
It depends on your niche and your target audience. If you are doing a site on web programming, seo etc then your visitors will never click on your ads because they know what they are. If you targeting teens, stay at home moms etc, they will probably click because they don't know what adsense is.
I only average 50 visitors a day and I am at $11 for this month so far. It has been going up lately but I still haven't reached $100. I am half way there. I hope it happens by next month.
It depends on your site, blending, niche, etc. Even a one visitor could make $1 a day. In most of the times you will need at least 15-20 clicks to make a buck.
I get like 700-1000+ pageviews a day and about 300 unique ppl a day , and i am making 1$+ with widgetbucks a day www.teckmen.net
