OK, I need some expert opinion.

I have a web site that had the following visits yesterday:

    Unique visits: 3505
    Pageviews: 32111
    Hits: 142487
    Bandwidth: 1.62 GB

Yet the Google page impressions were just 4,800.

    I have two questions:
    1. Shouldn't the Google page impressions=Pageviews?
    2. I find it a bit strange that the site generates 10 pageviews per unique visit, and has almost 2 GB bandwidth in one day. Isn't that a bit much?

The site has a lot of images, but I have them .htaccess protected, so I am pretty sure no one is stealing bandwidth...Still it looks a bit much...Any ideas?

I assume the stats you gave were from some sort of logfile analysis program?

Google only shows pageviews when the ads get loaded so if you get a lot of visits from bots that don't use javascript, or a high percentage of your users either have javascript turned off or are using adsense blockers that could account for some of the difference. That is quite a big difference though.
