Traffic question..How do..

    Hello guys, I am sure this question has been asked a million times, but I feel kind of desperate, I want to bring more traffic to my blogs and I dont know how to do it or where to start. I have submitted to some SE already, maybe 3-4, but other than that I dont know what else to do, any advice? Thanks in advance guys.

    Blogs are like any other site in the need for having other sites link to them. Go through all the basics, Directories, Article submissions, Press releases, link trades ect. I have lists for all of those to help you get started at Top Web Site Tips

    Start creating quality posts to keep people coming back once you get them.

    You might want to pay for a few links from other high traffic blogs and try to get some initial traffic from them.

    Here on DP you can state your last blog entry. That goes up by your name, I click on those once in a while if it is of interest.

    Just a few Ideas.

    It's a cool feature here on DP
    Go to your user CP
    Options
    "Blog XML Feed URL"

    I don't have a blog, so I don't personally use this. But it seems to update each time you post to your blog.
    This will show the title of the last post of your blog. Good way to promote your blog.
    If I had one and was using this, the title would show under my user name for this post.

    You can also try and work with other bloggers that post on similar topics. This would entail having them link to your blog (which would help your PR and natural search rankings) or reference your blog posts in some of their posts (reciprocal blogging). Many new bloggers join webrings to help get their blogs off the ground.

    try to search "social bookmarks" and then register all of god one. put your site on that also. and if you are good writer, then put good stories on those places with your site links. ;)
