Traffic on Holidays...

    Am I the only one that experiences substantially lower traffic from google on holidays?

    Today is Father's Day and I am receiving about 50% of normal traffic from UK and about 30% from USA...

    It's so strange. I watched the traffic increase on holidays, especially during the winter holidays... But I do not know about Father's day.

    I think that in the holiday period users prefer to stay down with their families instead of browsing the web. I've observed that before the holidays (the big ones, at least) i have huge spikes in traffic, but during the important days in the holidays, my traffic dropped down by 30-50 %. It's something normal that you can plan for though.

    The Holiday Season is a great time to get extra traffic. Lots of people out there are looking for free ways to make money, for ways to save, for things like Christmas Presents, etc.

    Traffic on Holidays goes down for me.
    Most of my traffic comes on Weekdays, especially during office hours.

    My traffic is typically down on holidays (religious niche). My biggest traffic time is always Saturday from early afternoon to late at night. I suspect it's preachers frantically checking around for some sermon material, because they waited too long to prepare!
