Hi, I run some sites that bring in eBay products and display the product's title, description, and image. Earlier this year, my traffic has dropped on all sites and I was wondering if anyone knew if a Google update can be affecting my sites. One of them is https://comicbookzone.com/ Thanks! Tony
First glance, backlinks are mostly spam, a small amount of content on the page are just two basic mistakes.
Well, I have checked your website and I found something that I want to share with you. As you are selling eBay books that mean Google must consider it as an affiliate website. And Google said any affiliated website should share their real experience with images, videos and stories. Your product description is not enough to attract Google or customer. Some description is very few and the font is not the same. it feels like randomly created. The picture size and quality are not standard. You have some backlinks but most backlinks are not good. They are ok to increase referring domains but not ok to increase traffic. The UI of your site reminds me of the 90th when it was tough to design a beautiful website. It is no wonder that Google will skip your site. Rewrite the product description with beautiful images and videos. Do more high-quality contextual backlinks and design an attractive website.
There were several Google Core updates and one of those pages has a visbility loss of -98,6%. The website doesn't offer any own products or services but there were many external links without any content. One further point were the backlinks. There is a lot of activity in spamming and buying links from brokers. By regarding the backlink profiles you just see the weakness. Hope you have those points in mind.
We've had too many google updates this year. Core update, spam update, helpful content update, just to name a few.
Google now always updates, I feel it become a " lottery " game , sometimes your traffic spike , sometimes don't
I think it's happen only with those websites who is looking for backlinks and backlinks any how (even not consider that site is relevant or not). If you are updating your webstie on regular basis (following search engine guidelines like unique and relevant contents) ....... choosing backlinks carefully ... then i dont think google update will impact site ranking or traffics too much ... Generally this happend due to poor word .. either you have poor contents, poor on page or poor off page (bad neighbourhood links also matter). If you will check then can understand easily that what and why this happened with website. Nowadays Google mostly update to filter SPAM, and its very good for many webmasters like me.
Your website traffic may have decreased as a result of a recent Google upgrade. You may investigate the website statistics to find the problem and look for algorithm updates that could have affected your rankings. Also, you may use SEO strategies like meta tag optimization, content creation, keyword research, faster page loads, and connecting to other websites.
Google dance my friend and it hapens all the time The best advice i can give you its to never put all your eggs in one single basket
