Traffic increased, clicks decreased!??

The last week I've been getting 25% more traffic. What I don't get is why the clicks has decreased dramatically. This has been going on for a week now so it's not one time occurrence. It's something really strange going on here!
The thing is, the cost per click has also decreased _A LOT_! This is really so unmotivating for me, working hard for more traffic and ends up in something negative.

    Any theories?

Did you analyze the source of traffic? Whether the increase in traffic was from non targeted source / traffic originating from less paying countries such as Asia rather than US??
or adwords people suddenly refused to pay high to drive their campaign?

No significant change in the audience. Actually, I'm getting some more traffic from search engines than I did before.

I relocated the ads and yesterday I got 11 clicks. That is fine, I hope it will stay like that.

    FYI, the site is http://tibiahelp.com

Almost any time I've had a big increase in traffic, my CTR has gone down. Usually it's because its social media traffic, or from a link from a big news site.

Well, that is a theory that is probably correct. But not in this case! Last weeks the traffic from SE increased a lot.

My news company found at http://goldmannews.com was indexing as the first in Google...however, it has stopped indexing...only the homepage indexes nowadays...so its a phenomenon we need to deal with...Goolge might have changed its indexing alogarithms forcing many of us to face problems.... It is a global thing..Google should explain....however, Bing and Yahoo are still crawling my pages though the traffic i get is not as much as from Google.
