I've been finally investing a lot of time into my site. The traffic is 4 times higher then what it used to be, which really isn't that much. From about 500 page views to 2000 page views per day. The weird part is, the number of clicks went down. I'm actually LOSING revenue now. The traffic is legit and unique. None of that ridiculous paid traffic. Is this normal, or has it happened to anyone else?
something similar happend to me when the smart pricing hit me Do you still get targetted ads? Is it only the PVs that went up or the UVs went up 4 times too?
thats very interesting. maybe the ads are not very tempting to click . you should check the ads and see what is being displayed and then try to filter out the unwanted ads.
Wow! Clicks going down despite a hefty (4 times) increase in traffic. Are you getting related ads, or it all off topic?
Ads still seem to be the same. I haven't changed the content much. The clicks have gone down minimally, if not remained the same amount. But it definitely hasn't gone up like the traffic did. That's why I'm confused. Oh, and the traffic has only gone up in the past two weeks. I'm just noticing a short term trend. Nick
