Traffic Increas.

My stats are showing my traffic is on course to be about the same as last month. I've been trying to do a few link building things here and there. I've added 4 backlinks from link exchanges. I have a few questions.
    1. I've been commenting on other blogs (most wordpress style). When my name links back to my site, is that a NoFollow?
    2. Will this help generate new traffic?
    3. The backlinks with link exchanges are to blogs with no PR, will this still help search engines?
    4. What other tips can you guys give me to grow my reader base?
    5. I'm using extreme tracking for my stats, is there a better FREE tracker you'd reccomend?

    Thanks a ton, anything helps!

I think Google Analytics is much better than Extreme Tracker. Give it a try.

Most of the blogs and websites use nofollow in its comment sections to prevent comment spamming...but some blogs still allow you to put your comment without nofollow attach with it.
And nofollow never make any direct impact of your traffic through that medium..if there is your link whether having nofollow or not..you will get traffic from there(but your comments should be of high quality and blogs where are you posting your comment must have some visitors)..

For analytics..I personally use Google Analytics and Statcounter Both...But in terms of tracking, Google is far ahead from statcounter...

Google Analytics is very accurate. You will see what's going in day in and day out. I vote for Google Analytics.
