Hi, I recently moved from blogspot to custom domain. After that traffic started to decrease day by day.Peoples ae comming by search engines only bit it is decreasing continously.Any reasons?? And i also wnated to know about sitemaps.I deleted my old sitemap of my blogspot and added a new website in the webmaster tools and submited new sitemap..This Process is a correct one or wrong
Can you check and see if when you visit the blogspot url of one of your previous post does it take you to the new URL? The re-submission of the sitemap is fine, it will take some time for Google to re-index the the web pages. Also don't forget that all the ranking was for your previous URL so it will take some time for that ranking to be passed on to the new URL. Since you added the custom domain to a blogspot they will take care of the redirect settings but it will take some time.
