Traffic Generation

hi guys,

i have a website related to travel, i am also in top with some keyword in google and other search engine, i have done link exchange & directory submission for this, still i am not getting good traffic for my site, my daily unique visitor is between 10 to 20.

Can anyone suggest me how can i increase my website traffic in google.

What keyword? You have to make sure that you're targeting the right keywords...

 

You need to target your keywords in the meta of your web pages like
meta keywords
meta title
meta title

to find the most typed keywords related to travel, I advise you this link

You might also want to consider spreading the link to your website around to gain more traffic. Try to find blogs within your category or genre and leave comments to their stories if it is allowed. It may not bring in tons of traffic, but I find it does help....

 

link exchange and directory submission does not guarantee traffic..only PR..if you need traffic, you need to advertise.. adwords, viral, etc.

Monitor traffic through an AdWord campaign using Google analytics. This way you can find out what keywords are converting, and what keywords are not converting. Once you have this Data------fine tune your SEO campaign.

 

submitting to social bookmarking sites will get you some traffic for the time being if you can come up with catchy title

 

first just Relax

Don't expect that you have a month old website generating 1000 visitors per day.

Write something unique and put it on social media sites like digg, delecious, reddit, stumbleuopn etc.

 

For increasing traffic you have to write articles,blogs,posts forums, check your kewword phrase, meta kewords, Use google adwords.

 

Keyword research is an important factor in the field of SEO because it serves as a foundation of your site to get a good traffic but so often overlooked.. anyone can ranked well SEs but what's the point if there's no or only little searches for your keywords..target keyword phrases that could generate traffic and rank your site well.

make sure that your keyword has a huge no. of searches a month, do right on-page, link build using your target keyword as an anchor. This may help you to gain organic traffic. Do also social bookmarking as it is a good source of traffic(referring site)

- Submit to social networking/bookmarking sites regularly

- Submit to free directories

Promote it..... Using promotional ads like craigslist.com, do social bookmarkings, forum post signatures...

 

yes as others have said.. spread the word more.. use forum sig links.. articles. social bookmarking submissions.. also make sure u are targetign the right keywords/phrases..

 

Another tips for you. Try to learn SEO. It greatly helps getting more traffic from search engines.

Start by adding a signature file here as soon as you can, and provide a lnk to your website so we can comment specifically if you wish

 

You must provide content that is relevant to travel. Providing more content will give you more to work with and more for the search engines to index.

It will benefit you greatly to utilize social media to drive traffic for the time being. Link to your best content!

 

quality content gives you to get indexed in major search engines. so write a content using best keywords, and try to submit your site to search engines. social bookmarking will drive traffic to your site. learn about SEO that will help you to promote your website.

 

I'll recommend you 3 different ways
1. As said by hanleo46...Not bad technique...(MIND: numbers doesn't help..but quality does....without spoiling )..
2. Submit articles and press releases related to your website and include a link to your website in the resource box at the bottom of your article.
3.Setup a blog related to the topic of the website and post valuable content on a regular basis. Use pinging and tagging to increase your traffic.
