Traffic Generation Contests -- what kind of prizes?

    I'm thinking of launching a contest for site visitors to 'incentivize' them to refer the site to their friends. What kind of premiums do you think will work best?

    Cash?
    Online Gift Certificates?
    Electronics (iPod, etc)

    Please advise.

    Ipods are kind of worn out as contest prizes. Amazon gift certificates are good, or stuff from www.thinkgeek.com.
