how can i increase organic traffic from yahoo?

 

Based on my experience, I only do content optimization and article posting then Boom! I got my rankings in Yahoo!

 

I think there is no special SEO procedure for the Yahoo. Continue your traditional OffPage optimizations. Those will work for Google, Yahoo & Bing.

• Your domain should be keyword rich which can bring traffic to your site.
• Keyword in your directory submission are important.
• Yahoo prefers good domain name,title,description so take care of these.

google and yahoo is like the same thing. sure your ranks might be different from the 2 but the truth is, in general you will rank higher in both if you just have the requirements for google. try focusing on google first cause usually you get much more from google but have links to your site through yahoo forums and it will rank you higher.

 

Content, content, and more content... Also answer a couple questions on Yahoo answers and leave a link 2 your site and that will also help out.

 

From my experience, building more backlinks seem to give little effect to yahoo search ranking. But adding more content to your site, especially with titles containing keywords that you want to rank, gives good effect to yahoo search ranking. Yes, yahoo answers is a great traffic source as well.
