So I have created a new blog, and article I look at says social media is the best way to get traffic to your website. But whenever I try to signup for a Twitter account so that I can promote my site, Twitter always bans me. I'll tweet out like 2 of my Blog post get a whole bunch of traffic then they lock my account then my tweets will no be in Twitters search. What can I do to make it not look like spam...
Did you try to file an appeal to unban your account? Usually there's a real human being on the other end looking into the issues of this sort. If, indeed, you sent two tweets and the account got locked (provided you didn't promote p0rn or hate speech) your account most likely will be restored.
Yes, sometimes the real accounts are getting banned because of security issues. So you can appeal to twitter support and try to get back your account!
There might be something you are not doing right, try to find out from twitter if you are unknowingly violating one or two of their terms of condition. I am sure you will sort it out, twitter is not so stringent unless you break their code and ethics
Unfortunately Twitter has become a real tough area to market in - even if you are promoting dating / gambling sites correctly and in line with rules they still ban now quite quickly.
You can get traffic through any of the social media sites. Twitter is one of them, but you need to focus on the following points for getting huge traffic for your website: Pay attention while creating your profile. Create a tweet schedule. Engage your followers. Use twitter directories. Make use of hashtags. Share twitter account on other social media sites.
That's so strange you are having this problem. I tweet out my blog posts all the time. Maybe your account or IP address has been banned? Read the Terms & Conditions and get into contact with who might know the answers. I've seen nudes and porn that's posted on Twitter. They are not strict at all.
You are saying that you Tweet about 2 blogs and you are getting a lot of traffic? ...you are doing something spammy which Twitter´s algorithm dont like...be more less suspicious.
