I think Technorati is one of the best ways to get some good traffic.But their search position order is based on Recent post.That is if i post a new topic in my blog,it will be listed in the first page of Technorati for the specific Keywords.But when time passes,My post will be dropped down. The problem which i noticed,as new blog posts occur in every second,our new post will be dropped down very soon.Is there any way to get top listed on Tecnorati search? Or if listed, is there any way to keep the post on the Front Page ? Does any one get good traffic from technorati? Pls help me
Ummm, post often? AFAIK that's really all you can do. Everyone else has to compete in the same system too, so nobody has an advantage here. Make sure you use keywords that are relevant to your post and something that people will search for, because it will remain in Technorati's index for a long time. I know I've clicked on search results that were months old, it's just a matter of using the right keywords that few others will use so you don't get bumped down.
Yes DAVEWASHERE, u r right.But i think this will not be applicable to Common keywords like Google,Adsense etc.Will Technorati display results based on the Authority?
Exactly. It's better to choose keywords that aren't common but not so uncommon that nobody searches for them. It is a bit tricky. I would say never use a keyword like Google, because it'll get buried below a heap of other posts in a matter of minutes.
