Traffic from Google Search engine.

After one year (daily 2 hour) work, my website gets good traffic from Google search engine. My website gets average 700 unique visitors per day last three month (September, October, and November). But it reduced to average 200 per day on December month. Traffic from Google search engine also reduced to average 50 per day. I am faille to find out exact reason. I am link exchange with lots of website on that time. I will stop the participating forum this three month. Anyone solve my problem.

 

Have you checked your google rankings lately? How are they? I guess you went down on your google rankings. I can't think of any other possible reasons.

 

check if all link exchanges are still good.

 

Well, google is very unpredictable, if you want to continue to stay at the serp, you will have to keep adding more links and keep up your hardwork.

 

I thought Google looks down on Link Exchanges?

 

I have noticed a traffic decrease on my sites too for the month of december, and back to normal in january. It may just be less searches in that month.

 

Same here. December traffic was discouragingly low. January traffic is actually setting new highs almost daily. Maybe there is just a normal Christmas-season slump for certain types of websites and a rally back in January.

 

Loss in backlinks may be the main cause of this problem.. did you buy any temporary links before?

 

I will stop participating forum. Forum will reduce link popularity?. Forum provide one way link. I will reg with 70 forum. After sucees, i will stop forum posting.

 

You need to keep adding links on continuous basis to maintain serp rankings.

There was a big traffic drop for webmasters things , after December... because of the holydays... let's say the traffic begun to raise again only 1-2 weeks ago
