Traffic from forum signature?

I'd like to hear what kind of traffic members of this forum get from their signature in their posts. Is there other value beyond members visiting other members site? Would it help in page rank or other search engine measures?

I kind of assume my links because they might be to my ringtone site which there are plenty of or my other sites would be to narrow in interest to attract traffic.

So do you visit other members sites or do you see traffic from other members?

 

I get loads of traffic from my forum links but it's better to have links from different sites to increase your SERP's placements. I may have 1400 links from this forum going to my site but it certainly doesnt count as 1400 as far as G is concerned.

 

My site don't get much traffic from forum signature. It just depends on what your site about, and what forum signature you are placing.

I got an order from one of my sig links the other day. I won't knock them at all

 

I am talking about BLs not the sig links themselves. I agree that sig inks are good to get indexed by SEs (if you need it) and for the occasional contact from readers on the various forums.

 

Forum signatures do account for some visits on my site but usually other hits are from search engines.

I've gotten several hits from my signature. Not a ton, but more than I expected - maybe 10-20 a month. I'm relatively new around here. My post numbers are pretty high because I talk a lot.

It's nice to have a few links to go on when you start out.

I got enough co-op referrals to safeguard my weight and prevent it from fluctuating.

About a dozen a month actually click through my profile to the site listed there.
