Its not really about the traffic its the way people pick up the articles and place them on their websites too. Its all about the inbound links..... Course to be a good article writer you need good English and a reasonably educated mind
Your resource link in an EZA article is not no-follow, which accounts for a large number of article submissions to the site. I've studied how EZA quite a bit. The majority of articles on the site only get 100 or fewer views per month, though a minority of articles receive a huge amount of traffic. A few get over 10,000 views per month. One little discussed secret that a lot of people don't realize about the site is that it has a demographic range and there are niches that do very well there and many that do not. As far as click-throughs are concerned, this is very much dependent upon the content of the article and how well it flows into the resource link. For example, I submitted 3 articles at the same time recently. The first day live, one received 146 views the first day, but just 3 clicks (appx 2%). Another received 78 views and 9 clicks (12%). The most important factor in getting views is the title. The most important factor in getting clicks is content. Wade Watson
well it depends on your articles and keywords. also depends on the targeted traffic for that article. based on the niche, the reader will either continue on by clicking on your link or move on. Test and learn with different keywords. Also, adding to additional article directories will increase your results. If you can put a manual spin on the article, that's a bonus
Ain't the idea that people copy the articles and add them to their websites... link in situ?.... That's why i write articles and is obtained quite a few decent backlinks that way. They get a decent article for their site and i get a link.... everyones a winner! If your looking for actual traffic from the articles sites then your gonna be disappointed. The traffic quality is likely to be poor anyway (mostly webmasters looking for content). Articles = Links = No1 = Chi Ching
Eza these days has become very competitive, an article barley last a few hours before been push down by newer ones. However, the EZA still ranks better than any other article directory out there, choosing the right keyword and writing a really catchy title can put you ahead of your competitors when you article makes it to the top of SERP.
Submit your articles to more then one article directory, I would suggest a few hundred per week to gain maximum exposure. Do a search on google for list of quality article directories or let me know if you need a few. Also, make your articles search engine optimized by using the appropriate key words using keyword density. If you dont know what Key words density is, it is the number of your keywords of interest divided by the number of keywords in your article.
The traffic is only as good as your articles ability to get people to click your links. You can't blame pr5 and pr6 article directories for YOU not having traffic. I think people forget that the article you write is pretty much a sales page to get the viewer to the next step which is clicking the link and getting to your site to see more information. The traffic is steady for articles that drive traffic but if the article is badly written they will look for something else to check out. People are not reading your article just to do it, they are hoping to locate information that they want and if you don't have it OR lead them to your site which might then they move on.
I've had some really good results using EZA for traffic but then again I submit several articles per day so I would hope so. I pop my article onto eza then when it is approved I ping it and web 2.0 it at onlywire. Seems to work well.
It is going to depend highly on the quality of your article. If you have great content which is being used, then you have more chance of your traffic staying higher. If you are in a competitive market, where there are 100's of new articles posted every day, targeting your same phrases, you will have a real battle to keep your article high in popularity. As with anything else, quality, quantity, and freshness are all important.
