    Hello,

Would like to ask experienced marketers if traffic from ezinearticles.com is consistent? Will it helps in increasing traffic for my website? Also, do you submit articles to ezinearticles.com only or do you submit to other article directories as well. Thanks

i think submitting your articles to ezine will derive traffic to your web . it will be better if you submit even in other directories.

Thanks for your reply. However, will those traffic be consistent over the months? Or will it only be a one time traffic.

Rather than submitting articles to directories, do you think it will be better to use the content in my site that results in richer content?

Submitting to Ezine isn't enough. You need to submit to as many as possible. Sometimes they will be posted else where as well by other people. You will get a increase in SERP results eventually yes but article marketing needs to be consistent.

Ezine articles sends consistent traffic to my site (although the number is small, about 10 a day and I have 50 articles approved by the ezine!). It all depends on the niche, title of the article etc...

submit article to ezinearticles certainly will gain some traffic to your website, but other article directories such as goarticles and articlebase, also can give you traffic for a period of time

It can be consistant, can be not, it all depends on you. Choose a keyword and build backlinks for this article, and because of the high pr Ezin has, it is easy to rank good.

If what you want is backlinks, then submit to other directories as well.

A lot of it will depend on how many searches the keywords you use in your articles get.

There's no set cut and dry answer to exact traffic stats because different niches get different
    amounts of searches.

Some have high demand while others none.

So the only way to find out for sure is for you to take action with your own and test your results.

Then, obviously, it's a matter of scaling up what gets the results while dropping what doesn't produce.

It seems as though article directories are dead, not much traffic goes through them and it's difficult to build it up even with reputed sites

Yes - but you need LOADS of articles.. i mean like hundreds or thousands to get any decent traffic.

Either that or get your articles into the top 10 lists.

I use it more for backlinks. However if you shoot some link juice to it you can get your article itself to rank pretty well.

You will see a surge of traffic right off the bat because the article is getting homepage exposure and will go out in an email to those who subscribe to your topic.

After that, it's fairly steady, depending on how high it ranks in the search engines. I've found that the title of the article is really important so use your keywords and then repeat them in the article but don't go overboard or it'll be rejected by Ezinearticles.

Submmiting your articles to ezinearticle could drive small trafiic, but consistent enough. There are many other directories available where you can submitt your articles, there by increase your traffic. The traffic also depends on the type and relevancy of article, if your article is not good enough to drive the attention of reader to read till last line then he would for sure not visit the web link which you provide thus decrease the traffic.
