from all these 100/200/300 directory submissions ... do you get any traffic worth mentioning ? or it is just for link building with no traffic ?
if yes there is some traffic ... how much it is ... for an average of 100 directory submission ?

the traffic is close to nothing from nearly all directories.

the only traffic I get is from niche directories (up to 15 hits per month per good directory)

in my case there is traffic from directories/search engines in other languages then english, that often place second after GG and before Y! and MSN.

Yes with directory links you can see that your link popularity has been increased but almost 99.99% directory sites never send any traffic what so ever. If you can manege to get some home page link from directories then it can generate some traffic. No body visit any ordinary directory for any kind of information, it's all about link popularity game. I'm saying this despite of having 5 Pr 4-5 directories, it's true information. Directories are only used for link popularity, it doesn't have any effect in serp at all. Only relevant links can increase your rank not irrelevant directory links.

In Dutch directories are very relevant. In English I've seen visitor-numbers from directories drop - a few niche directories excepted. I think it has to do with how good google has become - who needs a directory, for most information?

For a directory with a good google (trust) rating, relevant to your niche, a directory listing is probably still worth the trouble. They count as links and may bring visitors.

don't expect to get traffic from directories that you've submitted your site to unless its dmoz or yahoo or maybe a couple of other big directories. Instead submit to directories for link building and higher rankings in search engines
