Okay, I have yet to advertise a website I'm developing at all though I think I may have accidently mentioned my URL somewhere and it's probably getting indexed. Hm... No advertising but it's getting around 20 visits a day, how much traffic usualy comes from your website being crawled? I think 20 a day for that is a bit much but what do you guys think.

This has happened to me, too. Do you have RSS feeds?

It depends on the size of the site, I get nearly 2,000 crawls per day on various pages from my site because I have a very large site and it's constantly checking for new content. For smaller sites, that seems about right -- ~20 visits -- coming from different bots.

No RSS feeds and very few pages, that and wouldn't it not cound each crawl as a unique visit?
