Traffic from blogs...

    Well, since yesterday, I have definitely found that getting your site on a popular blog will get you some hits. My computer site was posted onto a blog (a very wierd blog about art/nudity/wierd news and this blog posts like 20 new stories a day, and over the last day, that blog has brought me over 400 additional unique visitors. On top of that, another blog of the same "genre" put my link on there, and that brings about 50% more traffic. These blogs are outragous, I can't believe they are so popular, and are driving so much traffic to my site. Anyways, I figured I'd give my little rant on that, as I never knew that getting your site on a popular blog was that major. I also learned that some of the oddest ideas of a blog are quite popular, I might have to try it!

    Well I mean that's the idea right with "niche" websites. They are things out there that people want to know about without having to search really hard. The benefit of the internet is bringing traffic to you..

    Now if I could just get some of that traffic to my sites. I'd be happy..

    gud job man... just sontinue posting and modifying your site... you might get alot of potential link partners... and you can also make some money there...

    I had my blog article put onto this really popular blog and I recieved around 8000 uniques from it. yes it is good when yur story gets all over the net, its just hard to re-achieve over and over!

    Yeah, i found youare more likely to get referrals from a front page of a blog than a site. Shame, the links disappear after a week or so.

    links on blog entries will give you a lot off visitors, because if a link appear in the article body, it is related to article, targeted, but it will dissapear from the front page in few days..

    This strategy brought me more unique visitors as well. My niche is careers ad jobs. And I've linked popular blogs and they linked me back, too. Don't forget to leave comments on their blogs.
