Sites like BlogCrowd and BlogExplosion get you a lot of traffic at no cost. But how good is the quality of this traffic? Is anyone actually reading your blog or just clicking through?
I agree, most of that traffic is not quality traffic, not to mention it can get you banned from programs like adsense.
pure organic traffic that's very relavent to the blog content is what a blog owner is looking for.......
blogexplosion can generate traffic but if your front page can attract more people, make a special landing page is a good idea of making it usable.
BlogCrowd or BlogExplosion or BlogRush will give you traffic, no doubt but the main thing is up to you. You have to provide quality content with attratictive headline to make people read the content.
Hi All - I like to study the "quality" of traffic I get by comparing the "bounce rate" (how many people leave right from the page they first saw) using Google Analytics. If you use WordPress, there is more than one plugin that enables your blog for Google Analytics. EXAMPLE: I get around 54% of traffic from referring sites like StumbleUpon and BloggingZoom. But StumbleUpon has a 44% bounce rate compared to a 75% bounce rate for BloggingZoom. Conclusion? StumbleUpon sends visitors that visit more pages on my site than BloggingZoom does. Results may be different for your own blog, but I recommend you sign-up and learn to use Google Analytics. - Scott
