    Hi there,

I run a portal about "pain" and "chronic pain" and I want to drive some traffic to it but I don't have any idea how or where to buy?! What would you recommend me? My budget is $100 - $400.

    Thanks for your help!

It's a health related site, so AdWords won't be good at all. You'll likely be paying upwards of $3 per click as you would be competing with actual medicinal businesses.

If you're looking to just drive some relatively targetted traffic to it, buy some cheap traffic from AdBrite/AdEngage.

You can post your site in an ad free.

Make sure to upload some pics pertaining to your site to get it on the front page radomly.

Just post in the health and fitness section at http://caklassifieds.com

Get fast hits. Set your ad to never expire and it stays for life.

Write a good detailed ad with good pics. It's a new site so you won't get loads of traffic yet but you will get steady trinkles daily that will build over time.

    :D

I would advise you to try buying traffic in smaller PPC systems, the quality would be at the top level, and it is less expensive than AdWords. You might want to try http://marketing.3fn.net/bidding/ in which a unique user searching for pain will cost about $0,22

MSN Ad Center or YSM will also be good idea, look for the free promotional credits that they are offering.
