Hi Friends, My website's (www.zeenews.com) traffic is falling down day to day ....it was very good till august but after that it started falling down even my direct traffic also fallen down... below given data is from google analytics from July to Dec July Direct Traffic 435,403 Search Engines 275,857 Referring Sites 245,352 -------------------------- August Direct Traffic 435,922 Search Engines 279,520 Referring Sites 198,672 --------------------------- September Direct Traffic 388,198 Search Engines 232,648 Referring Sites 174,446 ---------------------------- October Direct Traffic 381,744 Search Engines 245,909 Referring Sites 146,770 --------------------------- November Direct Traffic 349,117 Search Engines 238,053 Referring Sites 147,150 ---------------------------- December Direct Traffic 220,610 Search Engines 131,791 Referring Sites 107,856 I'll highly appriciate if anybody can guide me.. did you do anything special on July-august? check out what you did when you were more successful and try to do it again do you have some new rivals at your niche? did your PR and Serp changed? you check out if all your back links are still valid and you should really start to advertise yourself (not aggresivly) on social networks (related blogs and forums)
Zeenews.com is a big site- a search on Google should reveal that It looks like your visitors are primarily from India. Maybe people are busy in the winter vacations ? With Christmas and New Year just round the corner. Some other geographic trends ? It is tough just to pinpoint one thing that could have led to traffic falling without analyzing data.
