    Hello,

i've been using some services to get traffic and i want to know if traffic exchangers are good or bad ?

some ppl say it's good to get traffic and better if it's free

but others say it's useless since most of this traffic won't be related to the site content and won't make traffic raise in the long term

what do u think guys, are you with or against ?

IMO, traffic exchanges are not good. They send you lots of untargetted traffic and you end up loosing a lot of bandwidth.

I don't see why it would get you banned from adsense. People aren't being paid to do anything other than visit sites, not click on ads. When they get paid to click on ads: that's in violation of the adsense TOS.

maybe fake impressions at least - i'm not sure though

it shouldn't be unrelated since sites are categorized and you choose the category(s) you like to surf so you are interested in that category and probably will be a returning visitor

it is better building it by time naturally but you can buy some in Traffic forum here in DP

compare prices and get what suits you

and remember that you get what you pay for ;)

The only way to 'buy traffic' that has any actual PR (Public Relations) value to it, that I can think of, is stumbleupon: they will even help publishers get the stumble page ready for stumblers and have an editorial board to help paying clients.
Of course most websites that get stumbled are websites stumbleupon users have recommended to the system - which is precisely why it does work: people stumble because they want to learn more, not because they want to drive traffic to their websites.
