Traffic exchanges don't load adsense

Discussion in 'Guidelines / Compliance' started by stc60, May 11, 2005.

Does anyone here use traffic exchanges? I use them a lot.
Sites get loaded into a frame. I have noticed that almost all traffic
exchanges DO NOT have google adsense loading. All that shows
up is a blank space saying "not authorized to view" or some
similar message. Can anyone tell me why?
Is there some trick to get them to load properly?

adsense can be loaded some days ago, but now it can not.

Using frame (add a ....=document.location) in code can let the ads show, but I don't know if this is allowed by TOS.

Because traffic exchanges artifically inflate impression numbers.

For those that don't know, adwords advertisers must maintain a certain CTR so their ads stay in rotation. If you are delivering pop ups/unders with adsense on the pages, you'd be killing advertisers left and right, and ultimately, the adsense system.

That's exactly what that code is for - for loading ads in pages that are framed. I use it on my site because I'm a member of blog explosion - and without it, I was showing blog ads or web hosting ads. If there is a high probability that visitors will get to ads within a frame, you should definitely add the code.
