can anybody help telling that what should SEOs aim for? Traffic! or PR!????
i am a bit confused about this...
SEO is all about to bring more and more traffic so that to be on top of the search engine results.
but in the mean while if the page is not having good PR no one seems to be getting interest into it..
so from where SEOs should getting started?
first to enhance the PR or to develop the ways to bring traffic?
    please help!!!

You're an idiot if you focus on PR. I have a PR1 website getting 18,000 unique visitors/day, and a PR5 website getting 200-300. Can you guess which one I'm banking from?

Pagerank doesn't bring traffic. Your question has an easy answer. Traffic is the most important thing to focus on. There is no guarantee that getting high rankings in Google is going to get you any traffic. This is why you need to use multiple traffic streams and continue to work on them. Most people only focus on Google, and this is why a lot of people fail online with businesses.

That's an easy one....traffic, traffic, traffic. I don't believe PR has much value these days -- maybe it is good for bragging rights, but as a benefit that helps webmasters, no way.

What good is pr without traffic? Traffic is just great without pr.. That is why PR is dead and was only for entertainment purposes

Where did you got that crap from? Or you thought of it of your own?

The average "internet" users don't even know that there is such a damn thing called PR, nor they would care less (unless you are one of those bloody spammers that hunts out forums with high PR to spam around, increase your post count and then add a "SEO Services" anchored signature link).

And judging from your previous posts, you do seem like someone that knows his/her job...so I REALLY wonder, what is your point behind this type of opening thread (which I bet, you will not even continue to monitor or even respond to someone)...or perhaps its just me having that kind of feeling..
