Friends, i think we all know after the last panda update most popular sites are also receiving less traffic than before as per alexa traffic stat. Is Google panda really working for as it was designed ?
The Google Panda algorithm had been designed, to make the site that create new content leaders on the search engine. And of course the brands no matter what they will be leaders.
Now Google started choosing the website on strict quality check process. They are making the web more user friendly by putting high quality website on top of the search. if your website don't have quality content then your ranking will down instantly.
Are you really believing on Alexa stats for analysing your website performance? come on, Alexa stats are not real... But yes, recent Panda update may affect your website traffic in a big way. Panda is doing its great job, but you have to change your performance analysis tool... Please switch to Google Analytics.
It's only partially doing what it was originally designed for, some sites are still slipping through the nets and making it to the top. However I think as Time goes on things will change as the algorithm improves.
Yes, the panda update is making its mark across the web again already. Some sites will always slip through and I don't know how. The best a site owner can really do is to make sure they are compliment with the top changes in Google's algorithmic methods. By the way there were over 40 changes in Feb. alone.
As saying goes, If we walk often at the riverside, how can we avoid wet shoes. Ever you did some black hat SEO, google will find it sooner or later.
After the google panda mostly sites lost their rankings, there is only one important factor which is original and qualitative content.
Same thing happened to me, my site was doing great, I stop putting fresh content up and bam down she went. No more traffic, no more money.....
Yeah, Really Google Panda is working well. It your site haven't quality then you can't improve. Thanks,
Many people are complaining about traffic drop but glad to know this is because of lacking quality content. Not other reason.
I have client's sites with quality content and real business behind the sites that were hit hard on specific keywords, for other keywords they had some small gains but I don't think it has to do with quality content, rahter with not fresh content and/or not quality links to their sites
It is... Google will never make a move without considering all the pros and cons. From a corporate perspective it is all nice and smooth.
If you're site is pandalized your best bet is to check to make sure everything on your site is 100% unique. Next up 301 it to a new site and make sure this time the layout is more user friendly and accessible, with a smaller header and more content above the fold, and a lot of times that works.
