Traffic down this time of the year?

Simply because people are busy spending their holidays to their love ones. It will be back in normal this coming January

 

This is crazy as i have found our Filehosting site was up about 300% yesterday why i am not sure but today the trend looks to be the same but its still way to early to give a final figure,i guess some sites will gain momentum and some will loose it.I guess it depends in what sector you are in really as most people will be with family over the festive holiday.

 

Think you are right...My sites are receiving very low traffic for the past one week...
Hope it gets back to normal soon..

 

I also experienced the same down. DP's traffic is down. AND my ALEXA TOOLBAR and GOOGL TOOLBAR also down.

 

Mine is very different if the graphics are compared between DEC 2008 and DEC 2009, in this December I got very low visitors (only 30%) of normal visitors up to 4 times and each time it happened for around 2-3 days then back normal again .. and lower visitor again etc..
While December 2008 seems very stable, I still wishing that the low visitors is due to their holiday .. and not from Google

 

i also saw drop in traffic, however my rankings dropped too, too bad.

 

Pretty obvious I'd think, people are using the filehosting to send each other Christmas family photos.

 

This is the festival time. People are busy.
