Traffic down at ALL webmaster forums

Ive noticed looking at the alexa ranks for every major webmaster forum that traffic has been down consistantly, and for everybody for the last 6 months or so...

webmasterworld, v7n, dp, sitepoint and the rest.

Anyone got any ideas as to why this could be? is the explosion in webmaster related forums to blame, or are there just less people webmastering overall?

Do n't look at Alexa rank they are highly misleading

For Example:I do n't use Alexa toolbar ,so Alexa does n't count my visit to DP as one...

Webmaster forums were highly overrated by Alexa due to the fact that far more percentage of webmasters(wm forum users) used the Alexa toolbar or alexa extensions than the average internet user, ever sinceAlexa updated their algorhytm, the forums started to go back to a range where they actually should be. Of course the accuracy of Alexa is never high, just to state that the decrease is due to the altered algo and not the lessening amount of visitors.

It is highly visible the decrease happens after when they anounced the algo changed, around April-May

Same is happening to all so called make money online experts. Sites doing well with natural search however are increasing on Alexa. Apparently search traffic is golden with Alexa.

I wonder why is that? Maybe users of webmaster forums no longer have the Alexa toolbar installed.
