Traffic Decreases?

I have one website, landing pages of that site I newly created and make it live. But as soon as it lives, the traffic get started decreasing. Can anyone help me to make the traffic as it is? How can I prove to the client that due to this reason traffic decreases, using Google analytics.

 

i think you have change something which end up traffic decreasing. so find out what you have change in last update. if you content is not unique or not search engine friendly then it will impact on your search result.

 

if you have google analytics tracking the site you can see which pages decreased and figure out why. I use GA a lot to find which pages are ranking the best and whether the keywords I have created are doing their job.

 

I always say do not work in one method do promotion in all the sites with all methods.

 

If this is happening after February or March month, you should check for some "content issues" whether content is unique, descriptive or not. Whether the keywords you are targeting at the page are relevant to the content or not. This may be issues with title/description. For exact figure I guess GA can help most!

Just wanna ask one question also, my site is live and when I am doing an off-page optimization the traffic just drops down..is it because of the seo strategy that I am doing? All of it is just the usual off-page optimization techniques.

 

you should check your content it should be unique written.

My suggestion is also re-check your content. Please keep in your mind about the Panda Update. Also check your keyword density. That should be within 1% to 5%.

 

Make sure to run your content through copyscape after google panda update.

 

Don't Worry. Just try to use unique content in your site. Never do copy paste from other sites. Otherwise Google will considered as a spamming and now a days also google panda will hit you in google rank. So if you want to increase your traffic, use unique content.

 

If you have done something that did not agree with Google then it could be a major cause of traffic decrease. Check your sites settings and content. Also if you have began a link building spree, check the quality of the links that link back to you.

try to focus on SEO to get back your organic traffic. Check out which content and keywords change and make your traffic and ranking drop.
when you take your website in maintenance, make sure that it wont be to long and change it a bit and a bit. If not you will bring your traffic to page 404 .

There are lots of reasons may be behind it-

1. Have you changed your sub page URL.
2. Have you changed your traffic keywords.
3. May be your page block in Google.
