Yes - - need to know your site. I sell complicated purchase items (in general) and find that I complete 95% of sales on the phone for instance....no phone number....no sales.

I recently just purchased "Call to Action" by Bryan and Jeff Eisenberg. These guys really know how to convert. I would recommend spending a few dollars and purchasing the book. I think its under $15 right now.

I guess it's your design. It's cluttered with text. I felt lost while browsing your site. I would not know where to click next

Before you can effectively sell, you have to pre-sell. Visitors who come to your site don't know you and of course, they won't trust you until you convince them of your expertise, great products, outstanding service...

How do you win the trust of your visitors? Provide outstanding content that answers your target markets questions and provides problem solutions. Give them a free chapter of your e-book - in short, give something of great value.

The most efficient way to presell is with keyword focused content pages that fit your site's theme. From this site (it's sole purpose is driving traffic and pre-selling visitors), use in-context text links to your sales letter (a 2-3 page mini-site) that focuses entirely on selling your product or service.

Some tips for your sales site:

Don’t distract your visitors with outgoing links or content that doesn't have anything to do with your principal site-goal (selling your product).
Take your time to create fantastic headlines - benefits orientated & problem solving
Your USP goes into the first headline
    Provide a rock solid guarantee
    Provide testimonials
Clear call to action - "buy me now!"
Don't hype, stay serious and believable
Be specific on your benefits - give exact numbers...

Well, these are just a few tips (on a huge subject) to get you started.

    Good Luck :)
