Well it depends of the ammount of emails. I send around 100 daily and the only problem is that clicks from those emails are not monetizing well.

    - it should look natural. when i say natural that means it shouldn't be more than 1-2% of your total traffic.
    - you should not solicit to click on adsense ads
    - if they came through newsletter sent once a while then it should be okay

if its spam then you will get banned, you have right to send email to only your "subscribers" other ways it will be unwanted advertisement in google words (spam)

No, dont worry you will not get banned from adsense for traffic from email
    Reason for confidence-my experience
I have a career website wherein there are around 12000+ subcribers to my fortnightly newsletter growing by around 5-10 subscriptions in a day, the newsletter is quite popular among students from US and India
On days when i send the newsletter you can only imagine the traffic that it generates to my site and the adsense revenue jumps 4-5 fold for few days and with email traffic of 75% or so.
I was asked this question by adsense support once initially, "Please clarify your huge email traffic so as to keep your account in good standing", this was not a warning mail but asking me to give more details, and i gave some details like-my subscription is being managed by aweber with double optin and unsubscription links in email and the some blah blah about value of the newsletter with a copy of previous two newsletters itself, and then-i never heard back from adsense support and i has been 3 years since, but the traffic keeps increasing from email with each newsletter and increases subscriptions
Nothing to worry, if they find the traffic annoying they will let you know of it and be honest, if you are trying to spam and your spam complaints increases with your ISP, they will ban your servers and ip and as such adsense will sniff you out

That's a risk if your major traffic is from email itself
