Does anybody have some suggestion to solve the traffic increasing bottleneck? When we can do a limited but regular new content update for few pages + link building everyday, but it doesn't work anymore. And I also find the indexed page keeps steady as the new content ones are indexed slowly but the old one without changing for quite a long time desepeared.

Are you using etags, xml sitemaps, etc to make it easy for the search engines to know when updated content is available and when the content is stale/no longer cacheable?

I guess no,, I don't know how to use etags, and for xml sitemaps, I updated the old one about 1 year before (the SEOer working here left nearly nothing so I didn't know how he worked, I only use the google webmaster tools and find there was a place to submit sitemap where showing the links we have sumitted and the already indexed numbers), did you meant that?

Do I need to update this sitemap file when I have added new content or delelted some?

Sorry for my stupid questions as nobody taught me about SEO and I just working on it by testing and results. And I also have a question as below:
    1. Does it mean the link to your site decreased when useing command 'link:www.xxxxx.com' ? I checked the details and links on google webmaster's tool, the number is actually increasing but why it is decreasing by using this simple command?

It's a strange problem you have.
Google always gives priority to fresh content and backlinks.
