I am in web business and have tried all different types of classiefieds but almost no results. I have tried backpage, Craiglist, usafreeds, gum tree etc. Craiglist worked for me but no other thing seem to work and craiglist is getting very difficult to deal nowadays On Google I have good ranking for my website for certain keywords but No flow of traffic I have tried facebook communities for advertising, twitter, different forums for advertising but little or no flow I have tried adwords for facebook for which I got flow but waste of money because no visitor turned into customer. Now I am thinking of yellowpages to advertise but I am no longer interested in doing experiments. I talked with one of my friends and he told me that yellowpages does not work and we are in same business. I have tried email marketing but its not working too. I am looking to buy leads or buy traffic to my website but need a working solution which works as well as atleast some traffic converts to customers on my website. Do anyone have any idea of any good website which works for providing traffic as well as any other option which I can try. May be telemarketing companies etc. I just want to be busy and my phone ringing every second
Organic traffic is the best "free" traffic in my opinion; by seeing you got "no flow of traffic" I'd assume you choose the wrong keywords, or just keywords with little to null search volume. Use the Google Adwords Keyword Tool and Google Trends to find the right keyword, with the perfect search volume and a steady trend. Remember with Google Adwords Keyword Tool to set the match type to "exact".
I am on 1-2st pages on google for following keywords cheap web designer cheap designer cheap developer affordable web designer affordable web developer affordable designer best website designer On yahoo I am number 1 for all above keywords Still nothing
Those all don't bring in much traffic via the tools I provided, the first 2 alone didn't even make 1,000 searches per month.
Well, its time to revisit your marketing on how you encourage a site visitor. Maybe add more on your portfolio. Offer something new to your design or offer a few free design as an introductory of your skills. If skill is well presented you will be fine and convertion to dime is next.
SEO traffic is only one source for traffic. But you can try other methods such as article marketing, forum posting, free classifieds, email marketing and Adwords.
Sounds to me like your advertising isn't very targeted, and your 'landing pages' need to better optimized. One lesson I learned very early on in PPC advertising was that instead of advertising on broad key phrases, you should use key phrases that target the specific users you are looking for. For example, if your shop sells PC games, you might think that you should advertise on the phrase 'PC Games'. However, if you do this, you'll end up with a bunch of traffic made from people that are ust looking for information, screenshots, reviews, etc.... But if you advertise on the keyphrase 'buy PC games', you'll end of with traffic made from people that are specifically looking to buy PC games. You'll pay for less traffic that way, nad make more conversions.
