Traffic and Website Marketing for my site.

    Hi there,

    I have a website that we just launched a couple of days ago that I'm looking to get great exposure. I am completely clueless when it comes to internet marketing, but I do know, that I need / would like a vast amount of traffic come onto the site. I have absolutely no idea as to where to begin, so hopefully the replies to this message might give me some tips or suggesstions.

    I'm not. I'm not looking for handfuls of random people. The site is open for customers and clients of mine. A huge forum is the last thing I want. The article was there. What, you think I'm trying to make a few dollars by getting a big forum together when I have a slew of 40+ sites around the internet.
    Relax, it's worth the read.

    Dovaleh, the only real ways to get the kind of traffic you want, consistent quality traffic, is to advertise and get word of mouth going.

    There are a couple of other things, like business cards and article marketing, but those are on the bottom of the barrel.

    Just about everything else is just BS noobs follow.

    So the question should be: "How do I advertise and get word of mouth going?"

    Copper12: What about buying those paid traffics I'm seeing all over the Buy and sell section of here? Is that even worth it ?

    No. They can't even bring in enough traffic at their own site, so how can you expect them to do it for yours?

    And the ones who know what they are doing would not be advertising in a message board. I'm afraid boards are on the bottom of the barrel.

    You want to find sites that has visitors who may like your product, and then put a ad up. It's how the now big sites became big.

    Remember...the more you advertise, the more you make.
