Traffic and Google Adsense... or MSN/Yahoo

Google produces the most traffic for a site. Ok thx oh lord Google, whateva sucka.

If it uses the same ads it posts on your pages, doesn't that mean that CTR should be lower because a good number of those targeted visitors already said no to those ads... Is this true,, hmmm, I think I'm gonna check this out further...

Yes, if you read you will find that already. In Adsense terms, the visitors from MSN are the ones who have better conversion. But Google will give you much more traffic then MSN and Yahoo! together for the same keyword, so your earnings will be a lot higher, but with a lower conversion rate.

The important thing for me is how much I've made in the end of the day, CTR is only used by me when I do placement and on-page optimization.

What you forget is that at least (im guessing) 50% of those visitors already have ad blindness for google. I mean when you search do you even notice them? I know I don't... so when they go to your site the different colors and blending techniques make it as if they never saw those ads before ;)

Yet if your content is good and the ad is relevant to the context, ad blindness tends to go away. One of my blogs has a great CTR -- my readership base is pretty stable.

Yes yes I agree with the strong points, especially ad blindness. That's all well and fine. I must say that I use ad blindness for even semi spammy looking pages but would I for MSN ads? I don't think I would...

But still dudes, I would like to see this general idea in action so I think I'll try it.

I wish there were some tricks for MSN-targeted SEO, that way we could earn some great money. But both MSN and yahoo are quite unpredictable compared to google.
