    1) Choose the right keywords
    2) Promote your site so it gets targeted traffic
    3) Check your ad placement
    4) Don't chase untargeted traffic
    5) Get other sites linking to you so that your site ranks for its target terms

    Well if its the site in your sig then I would suggest moving the ads where someone can see it. And then doing a skyscraper on the right instead of a banner on the right.
    But for traffic, just keep writing. Link back to other sites like yours. Promote Promote Promote. But keep it on topic where you promote it.
