Traditional HopLinks Vs. HopLink Shield-Encrypted HopLinks

I haven't used ClickBank for a long time. Today, I generated a HopLink and discovered that they are now being encrypted with HopLink Shield. Here's what it says on the HopLink page:

"This HopLink has been encrypted by HopLink Shield. It represents an encrypted version of the traditional HopLink format of http://affiliate.vendor.hop.clickbank.net."

I don't like this encryption. My question is, is it still safe to use the old, traditional HopLink format?

Yes, the old format still works too. Encrypted hoplinks are just a new feature that you can, but dont have to use ;)

Just makes it harder for losers to track your hoplinks on the web.

People follow CB affiliates by googling their CB hoplink name to find out what they are promoting...

I love the new hoplink method. But obviously, your hoplink still appears on some vendor sites.
