This is a legal and business discussion - not looking at the product itself.

But seriously on the template topic i have made $100 designs for people :p

But i think its up to the people whether they want to trade with minors or not, whether theyre losing out on a GREAT deal or not.

Its a website not a big legal transaction. You hype it up to be something that its not.

Imagine how peaceful the forum would be without minors.. no offence to anyone... But yeah there wouldn't be these "hypes"

A website can many a times involve a big legal transaction my friend. Websites are bought and sold for 10$ as well as 10,000$. And when the money get's big so does the legality and the liability.

The hype is appropriate considering the example stated above of a minor suing a person whom he sold his site to, but then again it's always a good deal to transact only with people you know. Or with the fairer lot.

So I'd agree with what most of the members have said that it ain't a very good idea to deal with minors. But still ......

But that's also why it pays to be careful about what you blog, and what you post in general chat. These things contribute to the perception old fogeys like me have of you and wether we will want to do business with you ;)

If that was a reply to my post then lemme tell you that all big transactions commence mostly with escrow or a DownPayment --> Website Handover --> Full Payments format.

It's the proceedings we're talking about and the possible later consequences. Hence the mention about the legalities in bigger website sale transactions.

If you are under 18 I don't believe you can enter an escrow agreement, since that is a contract. For example. Escrow.com says
That means anyone purchasing something from you will not have the protection of Escrow.
