Trademarked Terms

    If the rule says generically:

    "No bidding on trademarked terms"

Does that mean ALL trademarked terms? Or just don't bid on terms owned by the company who's offer you're promoting?

I notice some say don't bid on the company name or any variation, then others say don't bid on the company name or any competitors TM terms. But what if it is just generic?

I would ask my AM, but it's Sunday.

    Any input is appreciated.

It really depends on the offer. If it states that you shouldn't bid on trademarked terms, however, that probably means all of them. If this is posted in the offer description, 99 times out of a hundred its been specified to be this way by the advertiser. If they don't want their terms bid on, that probably means that they don't want to drive traffic to their site via their competitors copyrights either. Best not to risk it.

    Hope that helps.

Also if it says not to don't risk it. They may not catch it the first day or first week but it will catch up with you at some point.... then you are up a creek cause if they wanted to they could not pay you for ALL the leads for that offer. since you didn't follow terms.
