Trademarked name for Domain Name?

    I wanted to buy a domain name that is trademarked in an entertainment industry. They released one product of the same trademarked name. I want to buy a domain that is "trademarkedname" 2 "typeofproduct"- so it is a sequel of the first product.

    Is this legal? Am I allowed to legally buy this domain name if it ends in 2. The trademark name does not consist of "trademark2" so it's like me buying a domain name called twitter2.com or microsoft2.com

    Is this legal? Thanks for reading this.

    Have you not read any of the other posts in this forum about the legality of domain names?

    NO YOU CAN NOT do what you want to do. You will be infringing TradeMark rights.

    Buying twitter2 or microsoft2 would also be infringing. It would be best if you ignored the name completely or any variation of it.
