    Hi,

I am new to domain parking and reselling.

I have purchased a .org domain name which is identical with a .com domain name of a indian company thinking that it my give me good traffic and tried to register it with namedrive for parking and adsense (for add revenue for domain names ) and they got back saying we can do it as this can raise legal issues. I can understand their concern and i have no grudge with them.

Please suggest me what i can do to get some revenue out of this.

Can i place it in any auction without having a legal notice issues to me
can i create a website of my own so this would bring me good traffic. is that legal.
Is any domain parking sompany accepting such domain names with legal/trade mark issues.

Pls suggest me some ways to make money out of this. I searched a long time to get this domain and had great hopes on it.

    Thanks,
    Phani

No domain parking company in their right mind would take on potential trademark litigation for a few dollars of parking revenue. If your idea of making money is to search for a trademarked name and make money off the confusion, then you have a very bad business model. While you might be able to set up your own website at the URL and make some money in the short run off the confusion, it is NOT a legitimate use of the URL. If you have uses that are unrelated to the use by the trademark owner (for example, if the trademark owner sells only cars and you sell only medical supplies), then you may be OK.
